The ÖISS was founded in 1964 on the basis of a national resolution passed in 1961 and a UNESCO resolution from 1962 as a non-profit foundation under the BStFG (Federal Foundation Act) and acts as a centre of excellence for the planning, construction and operation of educational facilities and sports and exercise facilities in Austria.

Professional association:
The ÖISS does not belong to any professional association.

Conclusion of contract:
The individual technical steps leading to the conclusion of a contract are described in the General Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Guidelines and Studies from the ÖISS.

Contract text:
The contract text is stored after the contract is concluded; the contract text includes the customer's order, the General Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Guidelines and Studies from the ÖISS and the notification of the conclusion of the order.
